Tenet Healthcare Foundation on behalf of Park Plaza Hospital recently awarded the Houston Area Women’s Center $12,500 to help support the agencies mission of ending domestic and sexual violence.

Tenet Healthcare Foundation has contributed to the agency for several years now, "We feel it is an organization that deserves our attention and commitment," says Lex Guinn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Park Plaza Hospital.

The Houston Area Women’s Center offers crisis intervention, children and youth services, shelter, education & outreach, as well as advocacy services all free of charge. The agency serves people without regard to age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, color or ability.
