HOUSTON, TX - Park Plaza Hospital and Medical Center recently announced that The Sleep Center at Park Plaza received Center Accreditation Status from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Opened in June 2002, under the direction of Dr. Robert Fayle, The Sleep Center at Park Plaza is a full service sleep center offering an array of tests including nocturnal polysomnography (NPSG), CPAP Titrations, Mean Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), and Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MWT). The Center diagnoses and treats all sleep disorders including Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Periodic Limb Movements, REM Behavior Disorder, Insomnia, and a variety of others. The Sleep Center offers eight private and comfortable bedrooms for patients testing. While at the Center, patients are followed by their primary care physician, the interpreting sleep physician, and sleep center staff.
