Park Plaza offers 14 operating rooms in it's surgical suite located on the 2nd floor of the North and South Towers. These operating rooms provide services for inpatients, outpatients, and same day surgery patients, predominately adults, but with some pediatrics.

The operating rooms, equipment together with our surgical services team provide high quality care for patients experiencing surgical intervention and offers advanced resources to the surgeons practicing at Park Plaza Hospital.
The unit is staffed from 7:00am-7:00pm for elective surgical procedures. Emergency procedures are staffed with an on call team consisting of a RN and two Surgical Techs.
