Park Plaza Women’s Services offers a high
quality, family-centered birth experience to
those families who would prefer a warm,
convenient, service-oriented setting. All
patients, during every phase of labor,
delivery, and post-partum, are in a private
room at no extra cost. Sleeping
accommodations are available for an
adult family member in many of the
patient rooms. Park Plaza provides a
meal in the cafeteria for the patient’s
support person after delivery. Visiting by
family members is welcomed and encouraged.
Siblings enjoy meeting their new family
member in the privacy of their Mom’s room.

Classes are available on a flexible schedule
both before and after delivery. Classes
offered include Birth Preparation, Infant
Care, Infant CPR, Breastfeeding, and
Infant Massage. Breastfeeding Educators
are on staff at Park Plaza Hospital.

Park Plaza Women’s Services has
anesthesiologists available 24 hours a
day/7 days a week if having pain
medication is your preference.

Park Plaza Women’s Center has a Level II
Nursery in addition to the Normal Newborn
Nursery. Neonatologists care for infants
that need specialized attention in the
Level II Nursery.

At Park Plaza Women’s Center we know
that each family unit is unique. Every family
has individual needs and concerns during
the pregnancy and birth experience. The
Women’s Services Staff is respectful of
your unique family structure. We address
each family’s wishes and needs on an
individual basis.
